Tri Bikes Worth £250k Stolen From Show

A triathlon company is offering a reward of £100,000 for the return of 2 vans full of top-class biking and triathlon equipment.

The vehicles were stolen from a hotel after the firm exhibited their goods at the Triathlon Plus show at London’s ExCeL centre.

giant triathlon bikeItems stolen include 52 high-value bikes made by manufacturers Giant, Cervelo, Cannondale, Scott, Neil Pryde and Wilier, bike accessories and men’s and ladies TYR wetsuits.

Police say they received a call to report the theft of two vans from a Travelodge car park at Dockside Road, E16.

Police attended the venue and were informed that two Ford Luton box vans had been stolen.

No arrests at this stage and inquiries continue.
