If you’re planning to take part in the inaugural Challenge Weymouth event in September and haven’t yet entered you might want to get a wriggle on. Monday 14th April will see the price go up from the early-bird discount to the normal price. It’s not a major price hike but when it comes to iron-distance events every discount helps!
TriReview will be racing the middle distance of this event and we’re looking forward to it.
This is a new event set up after the award-winning Challenge Henley ended last year. We raced this and had a great time – despite the hills!
Weymouth takes place on 14th September 2014, opening with a sea swim, in Weymouth bay.
The rolling bike course weaves through local countryside offering competitors a fast and smooth course. The run will then lead through Weymouth town itself and Challenge UK have promised a lively ‘Beer Mile’ to cheer triathletes on!
