The Windsor Triathlon is only 3 days away! With beautiful weather forecast, it looks like it’s set to be a scorcher of a race and TriReview will be racing it for the first time (any advice?!).
This iconic race is probably the oldest in the country and regularly described as one of the best tris in the world so we’re going to head to the home of the Queen to find out.
Windsor tri is now in it’s 24th year and ahead of the race on Sunday, Human Race has announced plans for next year’s 25th birthday.
Entries for the 25th edition of the Windsor Triathlon to open this Sunday
Human Race are opening entries for the following year’s event on the day that this year’s race takes place, Sunday 15th June, featuring a priority booking window.
PreviewThe race organiser says it’s keen to ensure those who have previously taken part in the event, along with members of the Human Race Club, are able to secure places in the event and therefore will be offering them the opportunity to secure their place before general entry opens at 9am on Wednesday 18th June through the priority booking window.
As part of the entry package, everyone who takes part in the 2015 edition of the race will get a special 25th anniversary t-shirt and commemorative medal, with further celebratory additions to the event set to be announced closer to the time.
Human Race also plan to reward people who have taken part in the Windsor Triathlon 10 or more times and been particularly instrumental in the events growth. Plans to do this include rewarding them with a free commemorative polo shirt which will also be on general sale via the Human Race shop along with an invite to a celebratory lunch hosted at next year’s event.
