Online entries close tonight for this weekend’s XTERRA England triathlon, taking place in Cranleigh, Surrey.

If you haven’t yet tried an off-road race like this – now’s your chance. Already signed up to race is the 7x world champion Conrad Stoltz (pictured), Asia Triple-Crown Champion Ben Allen (below), 7-time world champion Richard Stannard and a whole host of British and International elite names. Asia Triple-Crown Champion Ben Allen

On offer in the stunning surroundings of the Vachery Estate in the heart of South-East England are four race distances to choose from, including  the XTERRA England triathlon (1.5km swim, 30km mountain bike, 10km off-road run) and Try-an-Xtri Sprint (750m swim, 15km mountain bike, 5km off-road run).

The race was cancelled earlier this year because of road closure issues but was back on track in June.

As well as the elite athletes entered looking to take home their share of the 15,000 Euro prize money, the country’s best age group athletes will be competing, hoping to earn one of the 41 qualifying slots up for grabs for the world championship event in Maui, Hawaii. Behind them, will be hundreds of amateur athletes and ‘weekend warriors’ looking for the thrill of the XTERRA challenge.

The 7x World Champion, Conrad Stoltz said about the race:

“I’ve always had one eye on XTERRA England as it fits so nicely in my schedule, then I watched last year’s TV show on Youtube and I was immediately sold! What an awesome, challenging, fun course”

The race offers all triathletes an unforgettable experience that includes a swim in the private spring-fed lake, before joining the pro field on the singletrack and trails of the Vachery Estate, before returning to T2 and heading out on a multi-lap run through trails and natural obstacles in the run.

The Vachery Estate is located just outside the picturesque village of Cranleigh in the Surrey Hills, only minutes from London and the motorways, M25, M23 and M3.

Online entries are closing at 8pm on Wednesday 20th August 2014. Some entries on the day will be available.  Bands, barbeque, and camping are on tap and registration is still open. Visit and sign up today to race XTERRA.
